The purpose of the project is to expose the students to the dramatic and interesting lives of mathematicians that helped to contribute to society.
Students were asked to research a particular mathematician of their choice. Their research focused on personal information, education, work experience, professional skills, awards, achievements, activities and interests.
Each group created a webpage listing their research. On their webpage is a link for their double bubble thinking map. The group had to create a double bubble thinking map which would list similarities and differences between the students and their particular mathematician.
