The circulatory system is made of vessels and muscle. They help control the flow of blood throughout your entire body. This process is called the circulation. The heart, veins, arteries, and the capillaries are parts of your body that make up your circulatory system.

When blood begins to circulate, it leaves the heart through the left ventricle and it goes into the aorta. The largest artery in the body is the aorta. The blood that leaves the aorta is full of oxygen. On its way back the blood travels through veins.

The three main parts of the circulatory system are the heart, blood, and the blood vessels. The red blood cells carry oxygen through the body. The white blood cells fight infection and disease so your body can stay healthy. Arteries are vessels that carry blood away from the heart.

Blood circles throughout the body in about one or two minutes. There are about nine liters of blood in your entire body. If you didn’t have a circulatory system you would die. I hope you enjoyed seeing my webpage.
