Who was Emperor Asoka and what was his reign like?
Asoka was an Emperor who ruled from about 273 B.C to232 B.C. People say that he was an unusual ruler, because Asoka built hospitals for people and animals.Asoka was a strong military leader but he hated bloodshed. He also built new roads so it was easer to trade, andd to put shelters and shade trees along the roads where travelers could rest.that is Asoka the mighty ruler.
Bloodshed- were lots of people died.
Shelter- is where people live and sleep.
Ruler-is some one is in charge of other people.
