There are five different social classes. At the top there are the
Brahmans then going down there is the kshatriyas then the vaisyas then the sudras and last the pariahs. Each of them had a certain jobs. Like the Brahmans are priests and the kshatriyas are the warriors and rulers, the vaisyas are common people, and the pariahs are untouchables. No one know why this was created but i guess that it is from skin color.

Why was there a Caste System?MT

The caste system was probably created because it gave order and separated work. The caste system controlled your life it told you whom you could marry, what your job would be,and who you can socialize with. You were born into a rank and couldn't switch. The Aryans probably also created it because how outnumbered in India they were and it gave them control. Those are some reasons for a caste system.

Guru:A teacher for the sons of the kids of the highest ranking.

Brahmans:A priest and the highest on the caste system.

Caste:A social group someone is born into and cannot change.
