Booker T. Washington

He was a slave as a kid and as he grew into a teenager he began going to school to get an education. Then when he grew older he became a principal of a school in Alabama some years later he became known as the founder of The Tuskegee Institute.

Later he married his first wife Fannie then she had a child named Portia. Some years later she died so Booker T. married again to Olivia Davidson then she had two children named Booker T. Jr. and Ernest Davidson then she died.Sometime after he married again this time to Margaret James then Booker T. and Margaret went to New York City then Booker T. got sick so the two of them went home and Booker T. died some hours later.

He is still remembered because he helped blacks achieve there goal of getting the same privileges as whites.
