Magma-is a hot flowing substance. The difference between lava and magma is that Magma is inside the volcano and turns to lava when it blows up or empties out. Sometimes the lava shoots up and oozes down the sides of the volcano. Four ways a volcano can explode or blow up are...
#1. Thin magma oozes down the sides
#2. The thicker the lava is the more it explodes
#3. It goes down thinly and slowly
#4. The thickest lava goes up and shoots rocks and ash up high into the air miles, and miles high.
There are three different kinds of volcanoes. There’s strato volcanoes, shield volcanoes, and cinder cone volcanoes. They all blow out ash. The cinder cone blows out ash, steam and pieces of the cinder cone. The strato volcano blows out ash.
