| Wow, are walruses fascinating! One fact is that they look like large seals, very large. Did you know that the walrus has very large tusks that are used for fighting? Surprisingly, they mostly eat clams! Another fact is that their food gets swallowed whole! Also they could eat about 100 pounds of shell fish in one day! Did you know they can use they're verythickwhiskers to feel all around the sea floor to find food.Also they live in tiny groups called herds. Did you know their habitat is on icy water? It is easy to see that they live in the Artic. Believe it or not they can weigh up to 4,000 pounds. Surprisingly, they are endangered.Did you know that they're skin is very wrinkeled. That is how Walruses are interesting. | |
