Wind has been creating energy for a long time. At a wind power plant a wind turbine spins causing electricity to flow into many homes and electrical items. The earliest wind turbines were made in Persia ( Iran). It looked like a paddle with wheels. Wind is caused by uneven heating of the earth’s surface by the sun. Winds positive effects are its renewable. Bad effects are pollution goes through the air. Wind energy has been used for a long time. It can be traced back to 5000 years when people sail on the Nile.
