You probably don’t know much about this energy because its not our primary source because of a couple of reasons one because it’s to hard to find, its VERY expensive and a lot of times its not always sunny so it doesn’t always works. They power calculators, cars, space crafts, pools, and even homes! Although a lot of times it’s not a good idea money wise. This system works by the sun strikes the solar panel then it generates electricity and puts out to its sources. The solar cells are also known as photovoltaic cells those are the things you see on your calculator some times when you cover it the numbers will disappear and sometimes it doesn’t because it has a battery for a back up source. A solar power plant can put out electricity for about 10,000 homes. There are good things about solar energy too; it doesn’t pollute its clean and quiet. There are even solar panels in the Mojave Desert because the space isn’t being used so they can use it for a solar power plant.
