Glucose gets into the cells with the help of hormone called insulin. People with type one diabetes no longer produce insulin. They also need to take insulin everyday, eat a healthy, balanced diet and stick to diabetes meal plan, check there blood sugar levels several times a day, get regular physical activity. Right now there is no cure for people with diabetes. The only way to get insulin in to the body is injection with a needle or with an insulin pump. Have to pay more attention to their meals and snacks than people who don’t have diabetes. Checking you blood sugar levels is another part of your diabetes treatment plan. Managing diabetes may be overwhelming. You need to get plenty of exercise to help control type 1 diabetes. Diabetes happens in the blood.
