The description is that it was the family room in the commanding officer's quarters; it had a fireplace, sewing table and chairs.

Question: How many people can fit in the family room if the room measured 24 ft by 64 ft and if the average person standing was 14 sq ft?

What we did to find the answer: we measured the area of the room, which was 24 feet by 64 feet . Then we measured the average person was 14 square feet. Then we did 24 times 64 divided by 14.
