History (5 important events)
1. In 1831 Sioux warrior was born.

2. The Sioux warrior became head chief in 1868.

3. In spring 1876 U.S. army began to move troops to force free tribes onto reservation.

4.In 1880’s some settlers in Montana were growing rich.

5. There was a feud in 1880 because a person thought they could just boss people around!
Geography (Describe the land, rivers, mountains, lakes, etc):
- Mountains are covered by spruce, pine, and cedar trees.
- It get’s to 14 to 20 degrees in the winter.
- Jagged mountains in the Rocky Mountains.
- Great Plains treeless and a lot of wheat fields.
