“Trick-or-treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat, not too big not too small, just the size of Montreal”.
Half way down the block they noticed a dark and spooky house. After deciding that they were in the mood for a little scare, they started walking towards it. When the girls got to the door Sabrina rang the bell “ding dang dong”. “Come in!” Said a sweet elderly voice from the kitchen window, so the girls went in. suddenly, the door slammed close behind them. The girls got scared. They walked around the house for about an hour trying to find somewhere to escape.
Then, all of a sudden, thunder started to roar and branches from trees were hitting the windows. The lights turned off and the girls heard Natasha scream, which made them even more frightened. As they came back on, the girls noticed Natasha was gone! “Natasha, Natasha.” They screamed but no answer. “Let’s try to look for her.” said Melissa. After several minutes of trying to find her, Melissa said, “You guys stay here I will check this room.” Melissa went in the room to look for Natasha but came back out and said. “She’s not in there.”
The girls stood there and thought about what they should do, when suddenly they heard a loud “MEEOOWW” from behind them, they quickly turned around but there was nothing there. As they turned back around they noticed Melissa had disappeared “OH NO!" Said Sabrina “What a Halloween, two of our friends are missing. I wish Natasha and Melissa were here so we could leave." Said Sophia “Me too." Said Sabrina “lets just try to look for them, ok and stick together!” she said “ok!" replied Sophia.
After spending 15 minutes trying to find the missing girls, they tried calling out to them, “Natasha! Melissa!” screamed the girls. Finally they heard Natasha scream “Over here!” she yelled from a room up ahead “Where?!” screamed Sabrina. “Right here” said Natasha as she ran to them “Thank God we found you! Are you ok?" said Sophia, as they hugged each other. “Where were you?" asked Sabrina “Right before the lights turned off, I saw something run from one room to the next so I went to go see what it was but when I came back you guys.. HEYY! Where’s Melissa” she quickly asked “We don’t know. We heard a cat behind us so we turned to look and the next second she was gone!" answered Sophia as she felt a hand on her shoulder and screamed. “It’s ok It’s just me!” said Melissa. “Now that everyone’s together, let’s get out of here. I think I saw a back door when I was looking for you!" said Natasha, as she led them to it. “YAY, we’re free!!” said Melissa as they ran out of the house.
“I’m never going back into a strange house again. I’ve learnt MY lesson!!” said Natasha. “Me too!” said the girls as they walked home. “I think I’m done trick-or-treating for the night, I am going home!" said Sophia. “ME TOO!” said the girls.
