I learned many things about algebra while doing this project. I also learned that a system of equations is a set of equations with the same variables. I learned how to graph a system of equations by changing one of the variables to zero and use the other variable to make a coordinance. I learned that when you graph a system of equations if they intersect at any point they are consistant and if they are parallel they are inconsistant.

I also learned many things about technology while doing this project. I learned that you can take a math class on the internet, I learned that by using a computer that math can be an easy and a more enjoyable thing. I learned that you can create a school project on the computer called a web poster, and finally that math is a very important thing for many people, otherwise they wouldnt put math games or math classes online.

Vocabulary

System of equations- a set of equations with the same variables

Ordered pair- the solution of a system of equations

Consistant system- a system of equations that has at least one ordered pair that satisfies all equations

Inconsistant system- a system of equations with no solution

Dependant system- a system of equations with an infinite number of solutions

Check solution- substitute the values to check the solution
