| The country I had research is Somalia. The location of my country is Eastern Africa, bordering the Gulf of Aden, near the Indian Ocean and East from Ethiopia. The population of my country is 9,558,666. The currency is Somali shilling (S.O.S.). The capital of Somalia is Mogadishu. Somalia has no permanent national; government, transitional, parliamentary, federal government. The highest point in Somalia is Shimbiris it is 2,416 miles high. The language they speak in Somalia is Somali Arabic, Italian, and English. The religion is Sunni Muslim. Now the type of food they eat is canjeero. Canjeero is for breakfast and it’s sort of like a pancake. Rise baasto is pasta, It is eaten at lunch and it is very popular. For dinner they eat cambuulo. It is made with azuki beans mixed with butter and sugar. Also for snack they eat sambuusa. Sambuusa is a South Asian version of Samosa. Xalwo is a sweet dessert in Somalia. Xalwo has a coconut base on it. The animals they have are donkeys, cheetahs, and elephants that I know of. | |
