1. Transversal- a line that cuts across two or more lines.
2. Angle- the amount of turning between two lines meeting at a common point.
3. Parallel- lines that are the same distance apart.
4. Perpendicular- lines that intersect at right angles to each other.
5. Adjacent angle- angles next to each other.
6. Alternate exterior angle- the angle formed outside a polygon when one side is extended.
7. Alternate interior angle- an angle within two lines when they are crossed by a third line.
8. Vertical angle- pair of angles directly opposite each other, formed by the intersection of straight line.
9. Acute angle- an angle measuring less than 90º.
10. Obtuse angle- an angle between 90º and 180º.
11. Right angle- an angle measuring exactly 90º
