Geometry Vocabulary Project
1. Transversal- A line that crosses two or more other lines.
2. Angle- An angle is the set of points when two rays both start at the same point.
3. Parallel –Two lines are parallel if they never intersect.
4. Perpendicular- At right angles of the Horizon.
5. Adjacent Angle- Adjacent means that two things are next to each other.
6. Alternate exterior angle- When a pair of parallel lines is intersected by a transversal.
7. Alternate interior angle- alternate interior angles are congruent.
8. Vertical Angle- Pair of angles opposite of each other made by intersecting lines.
9. Acute angle- An acute angle is one whose measure is less than 90° degrees.
10. Obtuse angle- Obtuse triangles have an angle that is greater than 90° degrees.
11. Right angle- A 90° degree angle.
