Transversal- a line that cuts across two or more lines.
Angle- the amount of turning between two lines or more other lines.
Parallel-lines that are the same distance apart.
Perpendicular- At right angles to the horizon.
Adjacent Angle- next to each other.
Alternate Exterior Angle- pair of parallel lines intersected by a transversal.
Alternate Interior Angle- pair of parallel lines is intersected by a transversal, inside the parallel lines.
Vertical Angle- pair of angles directly oppoaite of each other. Formed by the intersection of straight lines.
Acute Angle- an angle that measures less than 90 degrees.
Obtuse Angle- an angle that measures more than 90 degrees.
Right Angle- an angle that measures exactly 90 degrees.
