Transversal - a line that cuts across two or more other lines
Angle – The amount of turning between two lines meeting at a common point
Parallel – Lines that are the same distance apart
Perpendicular – lines that intersect at right angles to each 0ther
Adjacent angle – angles right next to each other
Alternate exterior angle - When a pair of parallel lines is intersected by a transversal, angles are on the outside
Alternate interior angle - When a pair of parallel lines is intersected by a transversal, angles are on the inside
Vertical angle – pair of angles opposite of each other, formed by the intersection of straight lines
Acute angle – an angle that measures less than 90˚
Obtuse angle – any angle that measures between 90˚ and 180˚
Right angle – an angle that measures 90˚
