1.transversal – a line that goes across two or more lines.
2.angle – the total or turning between two lines meeting at a common point.
3.parallel – lines that are the same distance apart.
4.perpendicular – lines that intersect at rights angles to each other.
5.adjacent angle – angles that are right next to each other.
6.alternate exterior angle – the angle formed outside of a polygon.
7.alternate interior angle – a angle within a polygon.
8.vertical angle – pair of angles opposite of each other.
9.acute angle – an angle measuring less than 90 degrees.
10.obtuse angle – and angle measuring between 90 degrees and 180 degrees.
11.right angle – an angle measuring 90 degrees.
