MICA is located in Baltimore, Maryland and is known for being the nation's oldest degree granting art college. Offering a wide variety of art courses such as Painting, Photography, fine arts, animation, and much more, students enjoy their life here.

It is located near downtown Baltimore which allows students to commute easily to the city. There are many available majors especially in the Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree Program. One of the most sold out events are also held at MICA. The Art Market is a place where everyone is able to purchase new pieces from students at MICA. There is also a fun fashion show!

Incoming students really enjoy their stay at MICA. I would encourage lots of people to apply because they really appreciate students who are passionate about what they do and learn. If I had the option to apply to this school, I would want to take Art History and Photography because those are my two favorite subjects. I think I would also change my mind and take a lot more courses because they offer such a wide array of art classes. I love the campus and I would enjoy going to the city as well. The dorms also look like a fun place to live and meet new people. As you meet new people who have similar art interests as you, you can all benefit each other. If you really enjoy art and are open to all aspects of it such as Painting, photography, ceramics, animation, etc this is the school for you!

Tuition:
- one semester for a full time student: $16,500
- one year for a full time student: $33,000
- four years for a full time student: $132000

- Each year approximately 65 percent of MICA’s full-time students receive financial assistance from a variety of programs. The College awards more than $32 million annually in financial assistance to undergraduate students from all sources. The MICA-funded scholarships and grant programs alone provide more than $14.5 million.
