The earthworm is to us the most interesting of the Annelid worms. Adult Annelid worms range anywhere from 1/2 inch to 22 ft in length. Most earthworms are red brown or even pink. Earthworms can hatch as early as two weeks in warm weather and as long as 3 months in the cold. More than 1 million earthworms can live on one acre of land at a time.
