Since we have a limited amount of non-renewable energy sources, it is important that we conserve our supply or use renewable sources, so our natural resources will be available for future people. If we don’t conserve our non-renewable resources, we will have to start using electric power. Electric power though, is generated by nuclear power plants, which poses significant nuclear waste. This is especially bad for the environment because nuclear waste is such a concern nowadays. Many nuclear power plants have considered shutting down their systems, but they have not done so. Conservation is very positive towards our environment. If you conserve energy you could be saving yourself from spending unnecessary money. Another way its positive is if you reuse more of your natural sources, you will have those sources for a longer amount of time. I could start brushing my teeth while I’m in the shower, instead of brushing them before or after. This would help conserve water. I could also conserve light by turning off all the lights in my house before leaving. Worldwide, I think the world should conserve fuel by not driving cars and riding bikes or just walking. If everybody did this, we would have more feul to use in the future, if we needed it.
