All About Me
Hey, I'm the Gallbladder. I store the bile produced by the liver. Did you know that I can hold one and a half fluid ounces of bile. Bile is a dark green to yellowish brown fluid. I have a few neighbors some good and bad. The Liver, which gives me purpose, The Pancreas can hurt me with it's cancer, and The Small Intestine which I put bile into to aid digestion. I have a few parts which are labeled in the image above. I can also absorb minerals and salt, sand, and water

Heath
I can cause a few health problems one of which is pancreatic cancer. I am linked to this by my bile tubes so I get hurt by this too. One kind kills the pancreas cells and a far more deadly kind kills the insulin producing cells. Another health problem is Gallstones. Gallstones are made of cholesterol, calcium, or a combination of the two. It causes nausea and abdomen pain. Gallstones are lumps of material that form in the gallbladder.
