Is like a tradition to go once a year to Taxco, Guerrero. Is a little town, in a valley: the buildings, houses, markets, hotels, are very, very colorful. There are beautiful streets. There is too, something pretty cool: Since the 16th century there are a lot of silver mines around, so the principal economic activity, is the silver.

The last time I went to that mythical place, was on February, 2011. My family and I arrived there at 3 P.M. We stayed at Hotel De la Borda, where we always stay. When we arrived, the first thing I did was go swimming to the hotel's swimming pool.

The second day, we went walking throught Taxco's streets. We found every silver gadget, ornament, jewel and all that could exist. I bought a military-like plate with a sentence, and with a necklace.

We bought some masks too, to add them to our collection of stone masks. These masks are made of "Concha Nácar", "Obsidiana", "jade", "river stones" and a lot of different stones.

The third day, early, we went again to walk, and buy some silver or other things. Finally we went to the hotel and swam the rest of the day. We return to México city in the evening. That rocks!
