Cascade Caverns is a cave located in Texas.
Texas is in the south. Cacade Caverns is about 14 miles from San Antonio, Texas. It was discovered in the 1700s. It is only living cave in Texas. It has a 100 foot long waterfall in the cave. It stays 64 degrees year round.
From Draper elementary School it is 1,222.84 miles and it will take you 19 hours and 35 minutes to drive there.
You will drive through several states to get there: North Carolina, South Carolins, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisana, and then Texas.
The big attraction here is the caverns which you can go in. A tour guide goes with you and the tour last about 45 minutes to one hour. You can spend the night at the campgrounds.
The caverns are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year\'s Day.
You have to have tickets to go into the cave. Ticket costs are $11 for adults and $7 for children ages 4-11. There are tours all during the day. In the summer there are three hour adventure tours to the lower cave.
