Norfolk Public Schools should offer four years of elective credits to students taking gym in high school.

Reasons:
1. Some students exceed at sports but fail academics.
2. Schools can take 2 yrs worth of athletic classes and make 4 yrs to the degree.
3. Also students will skip less due to their love of sports.

I understand that students lose valuable academic credits. However, students like athletic classes because the students can release their stress while physically working out.
Ethos: I use to be under constant stress due to day care, school, and chores. Through this alone I experienced a mental collapse only coming back to my senses after I went for daily runs.
Pathos: many kids drop out and rely on their parents or become homeless because of the stress that builds onto them.
Logos: physically exercising can release pressure on the brain because it is not being used and is repairing itself from the strain.
