Reasons
1.Texting while driving is distraction and extremely hazardous.
2.Many young people are severely injured or killed,texting while driving ending any chance of a bright future
3.Driving while texting drastically effects the reaction time of the driver while on the road.
Although some would say that if any laws were passed against texting while driving that they wouldn’t help and couldn’t be enforced.
I believe that if harsh enough laws are placed into action it will dramatically decrease the amount of texting while driving related injuries and deaths.
About author- I’m Emmanuel Taylor. I’m a junior in high school with many friends who are beginning to drive. I care for all my friends a lot and don’t want to see them hurt over something as trivial as a text message. As I myself get ever closer to owning a car and driving I won’t text while driving, not only to protect myself but to protect others as well.
