Should Teachers Be held Responsible?

1) Students should be held responsible. They stay in the cafeteria throughout all four lunch blocks just to skip the class.

2) While in class the same students that always ask to use the rest room never use it, they just walk around the hallways talking with friends, or even go to other class rooms to pass time.

3) And some students don’t even care about school and just skip the whole school day.

4) Teachers suffer from this as well, they have to spend some of their class time to play catch up with the failing students

Parents may say that it’s the teachers’ job to take control in their class rooms. However it’s not the teachers’ job to act as a parent to a student, but to teach them. It’s the parents’ responsibility to make sure that their kid comes to school and stays in school. It’s the parents job to check on their kid to see home much work they are missing and how many classes they have missed.
