INTRODUCTION:
The purpose of this lab is to see if rock music make your heart rate increase. A normal resting heart rate for on adolescent above age 10 is 55 to 85 beats per minute. Slow music influences a person’s relaxation and that musical pauses modulate heart rhythms. Music with faster tempos resulted in increased heart rates. If students listen to rock music, then their heart rate will increase. By having students listen to three types of music, rock, calm, and hip-hop, under controlled situation their heart rates are recored.

CLAIMS: EVIDENCE:
I claim that neither hip-hop I know this because the heart
, rock, or calm music affect rates measuring calm music is
your heart rate. 58 bpm, for rock music is 56
and hip-hop is 57 bpm.

EVIDENCE-BASED EXPLANATION:
The data of this experiment does not support the hypothesis. I claim that neither hip-hop, rock, or calm nusic affect your heart rate. I know this because the heart rates measuring with calm music is 58 bpm, for rock music is 56 bpm and hip-hop music is 57 bpm.

DISCUSSION:
In this experiment some changes could of been made. The thingd that went wrong were the rock music selected could be more rockest. The volume could have been higher. The lights could have been turned on. I really enjoyed the lab because taking their heart rate and listening to music.
