PROBLEM-soil erosin

SOLVING PROBLEM-I will test three diffrent materials to see witch one lets the water go through but also holding back the soil

HOW I WILL DO IT-I will put three inches of soil in three wooden boxes and flatten the soil out so its a flat surface. I will run a tube through the far end of the box and run water through the tube and have a diffrent material in each box set up in the middle and test witch material works the best letting the water run through and holding back the soil at the same time. I will also see witch material is the strongest

MATERIALS-1)fence like material
2)regular sowing cloth
3)plastic

I think the fence like material will be the strongest but I think it won\'t hold all the soil back.I think the sowing cloth will hold the soil back and let the water run slowly through, but I don\'t think it will be the strongest.I think the plastic will work the best because i think it will be the strongest holding back the soil and with little holes in it,I think it will let the water run through like a hose
