Did you know that the Egyptian’s were the first people to use lead and the Babylonians? The Romans use lead for pipes and in solder. It was one of the first metals made in North America, where it was sought after especially for making shot. The chemical Formula for lead is pb the pb means plumbum it is Latin for lead. The color of lead is gray to slightly bluish gray lead gray and gray white.

Lead has a lot of uses are you ready for it?
Lead is use for Fishing weights, solders for electrical connections and for copper/brass radiators. Solder’s in non-potable pipes packing around drain pipes. Keel weights for sailboats. Tire balancing weights. Alloy components in low melting points alloy use too automatically sprinkler systems when they melt. Bullets, component in the majority of car batteries
