The music I found was on Youtube, where I made a playlist of the songs. I started listening to the music on Saturday, May 4th. I listened to the King Romeo Santos, he calls himself that in most of his songs. The songs that I liked were Promise, Obsesion, Solo por un beso, Por un segundo. The songs that I disliked were none of them. I loved all of them because the rhythm and lyrics are up beat and soothing. I chose this option because I love the different traditions Romeo adds to the songs that make the culture standout.

The purpose of exploring culture is to learn new traditions, and for our knowledge to understand more about that culture. In the music Romeo added different mixes of culture. In the rhythms it showed more about the culture and the lyrics too. The music did show a normal cultural experience because the music sounded very unique to me and matched great to the culture. Romeo added a lot of classical background on some of the songs. Then he added bachata, merengue, and salsa to the songs. This project made me understand Romeo`s culture in music. It also improved my reading skills in Spanish. I honestly didn`t like Romeo`s music before but now I`m in love with the music!
