When searching on the internet you can get up to 1 million search results!! But the question is, how do we minimize that number? Well some helpful tips can be things like using subtraction symbols to get rid of words. For example say you were looking up the childhood of Benjamin Franklin. Most search engines would give you information about the war between the 13 colonies and England, not his childhood. So instead of going through all those websites you can simply put subtractions symbols. What this would do is simply make sure the word you subtracted does not show up in the website. So you could type in Benjamin\'s Franklins childhood- war for independence. That is one way internet search is important
Also to be smart while searching the web you must use specific words. You cannot simply put Benjamin Franklin in and expect to get a lot of websites about his childhood. You must be very specific with the words you type.
The ULRS by this entry shows some examples of search engines you can search on.
