The symbols of Jupiter are the Oak, the Eagle, the Bull, and most popular, the Thunderbolt.
Two things that relate to Jupiter in modern day culture are \"Jupiter\'s Legacy\" by Mark Millar Fran Quitely, and of course, the planet Jupiter.
Jupiter was the son of Saturn and Opis. His brothers were Pluto and Neptune, and his sisters were Vesta, Juno, and Ceres.
Jupiter was the King of the Olympian Gods and the Roman God of Roman Religion. He was known also as being the Roman God of the Skies and King of the Gods. Jupiter was the leader god of the Roman state ruling over social order and laws. His equivalent Greek god is Zeus. Jupiter was not one to be scared of anything or anybody. When he was angry or had to bring order, he would launch a thunderbolt. He led the Roman army to many victorious wars and battles. When the Roman Empire fell, he departed and took his support with him, leaving the Romans to fend for themselves.
