Talc is used for all sorts of things Example:electical wires,paints,rubber,talcum powder and paper.

The chemical symbols are H4Mg3(SiO10)(OH) What that means it means Talc has Oxygen,Silicon,Magnesium and Hydrogen in its mineral.

Talc has a very greasy waxy feel to the mineral and Talcs cleavage is perfect (001). Also the streak of the mineral is white.

The mineral is found in USA,Germany,Austria,South Africa and Scotland.The colors of Talc are Colorless,White,Pale Green,Bright Green to dark Green,Brown and Gray.

Talc hardness is 1 on the Mohs scale.Also if to crush Talc(Talcum powder)the powder will turn out white.
