Cronus is a Greek titan. He was the leader of his generations of titans. Cronus\'s symbols consists of a harpe, a sickle, or a scythe. In the strange family tree of Cronus, you can notice that Cronus had a wife named Rhea. They had many children, but Cronus ate them all because he was scared that they would overthrow him and take his spot as he once did. So, he ate all of his children except Zeus. His wife Rhea, disguised the \'new child\' as a rock. Cronus ate the rock, but later on Zeus came back to get his father. Zeus used emetics on Cronus causing him to puke of all the eaten children. Their names were Demeter, Hestia, Hera, Hades and Poseidon. Cronus was pretty messed up!

In one story Cronus was believed to have escaped from Tartarus, where he was banished in the underworld. After his escape, he went to Italy and became the ruler of Saturn. During his time as the ruler, it was considered the Golden Age on Earth. In his honor, he was also remembered in the Saturnalia feast. Other than that, there aren\'t many stories of Cronus.

Cronus shows up un an episode of supernatural. In this episode Cronus had the power to time travel and he was able to siphon the life out of people in order to keep himself immortal. Also, in a movie called Wrath of the Titans, Cronus was able to shoot lava from his hands! Pop culture usually shows Cronus as being big and powerful much like how he is portrayed in mythological stories that we still read today.
