Three symbols Hera has is the pomegranate, scepter, and the cow. The pomegranate and the scepter represent fertility. While the cow is her sacred animal.

Hera\'s parents were Cronis and Rhea, her siblings were Poseidon, Hades, Demeter, Zeus, and Hestia. She was married to her brother Zeus and had children named Eileitha, Ares, Hebe, and Hephaestus.

One day Zeus was walking around when he spotted Hera. Zeus fell madly in love with her and he knew he needed to make her his wife. So one day Zeus turned himself into a cuckoo where he sat outside her window acting like he was freezing. Hera felt bad for it and took it in, but once inside Zeus revealed himself and made love to Hera. That is when he took Hera to the mountain of Cithaeron to marry her and cover up the shame. There in the garden of Hesperides they had a ceremony where she was given a wedding dress and a seat on the golden throne next to Zeus. They were given many gifts but after the ceremony they set on there honeymoon to the Greek island of Samos where there honeymoon lasted 300 years.

Hera is in pop culture today where she is talked about in movies, books, and products. One book that she is in is called Hera( Book One Of The Goddess Chronicles). Hera is also in a movie called The Mundane Goddess played by Uma Thurman.
