Hera is the Greek goddess of family and marriage.
Heras symbols were a crown, scepter, and the pomegranate symbolising birth. The lily was her symbolic flower. Also the peacock and cow were animals that were sacred to her.
Hera and Zeus had a honeymoon that lasted 300 years. Hera’s holiday is Mother’s Day. There is belief that Hephaestus isn’t Zeus child.
Two titans, Cronus and Rhea, had six children. All included Hera, Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, Hestia, and Demeter. After Hera married Zeus, they had Eilithyia, Ares, Hebe, and Hephaestus.
