Hermes was the Greek God of Messages and served as the protector of travelers, athletes and thieves. Hermes is the son of Greek God Zeus and Goddess Maia. Hermes is the brother of; Ares, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Aphrodite, Dionysus, Hephaestus, Perseus and the Muses. Hermes is the father of; Pan, Hermaphroditus, Tyche, Abderus, Autolycus and Angelia. Hermes is know for what he carries around, his staff (The Caduceus) and his winged sandals he uses to get around in. In pop culture Hermes has been featured a lot, one place is in the movies, Hermes was in Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief
