| Prometheus is known as a Greek titian. He was known as a benefactor of mankind, because he brought fire. He was the son of Lapetos, he had a sister in law name Pandora and his brother was atlas, Menoetius and Epimethues. Now Prometheus is known as a titian. During the time that he was alive there was a period called the Titainomachy. That is where all the titans go to the underworld with Hades because there was a war with the Titian and the Olympian gods. That being said Prometheus chooses the winning side which was with one of the Gods name Zeus. So picking the winning sides he did not have to go to the underworld.
