Juan n. Seguin was born on October 27 in 1806 in bexar new spain.(now San Antonio) Seguín became active in local politics, and he was elected alderman in San Antonio in 1829 and became that city’s mayor in 1833. Then Juan Seguin got together with Texas and he fought by side them and helped them gain his independence.
