ART 7 EXPLORATORY COURSE OUTLINE The standards for grade seven continue to emphasize the exploration, analysis, and investigation of the creative process initiated in grade six. Through their continued use of the elements of art and the principles of design, students develop artistic skills that empower them to communicate ideas visually. Art History and the use of technology will also be explored. New ideas, techniques, and materials will be introduced.
