WELCOME BACK!!! Hope everyone had a great summer. Congratulations to all those "Millionaire Club" members who read at least 5 books over the summer. The next "Name that Book" club meeting for 3rd-5th graders will be held on November 10th from 3:00-3:45 in the Horn Library. Please have the following book read so that we can discuss it: "The Westing Game". The Fall Book Fair will be held in the Horn Library during the week of November 16-20. Plan to attend and bring money so that you can buy some excellent books and help out our library. There are a few changes to the HISD On-Line Resources. We will now be using World Book Web instead of Grolier and the password has changed. E-mail Ms. Batke at sbatke@houstonisd.org for the current password. |
