What gets turned in…
I. A visual representation (PowerPoint, Book, or Poster)- including all the listed requirements below and the conclusion questions
II. Conclusion questions in the project
III. Bibliography
VI. Grade sheet

CONCLUSION QUESTIONS (VERY complete sentences)
a. Humans have a large impact on the world. Describe the
impact humans have on your ecosystem. This may be negative or positive.
b. How do plants create energy for your ecosystem? How do plants play an important role in your ecosystem?
c. What would happen if one organism within your ecosystem increased in population (increased in number)? In other words, how would it affect the other organisms in the ecosystem?

What must be included in the project…
1. Your name(s), and the ecosystem you have chosen.
Must be clearly visible.
2. A map to show the location(s) of your biome.
3. A list of at least 15 organisms in your ecosystem.
This includes all the kingdoms.
4. In a chart (table) tell me what kind of food type each of your 15 organisms are: carnivore, herbivore, producer, consumer, decomposer, scavenger. They may be more than one type.
5. List as many abiotic and biotic factors in your ecosystem as you can in a table or chart.(Minimum of 5 for each category.)
6. Identify at least two interactions in your ecosystem (mutualism, commensalisms, parasitism, predator-prey)
7. Illustrate a food chain from your ecosystem. You must have at least 4 elements within this chain. (You must include the sun within your food chain.)
8. Illustrate a food web from your ecosystem. You must have at least 5 elements within this web for it to be an effective web. You may not cut and paste an exact copy of a web or food chain into your presentation from a source. You must actually make one up.
9. Have a table listing at least 2 out of the 15 organisms’ habits and niches. Use the table in your ecosystem packet to help you with this task.
10. All the requirements must be clearly labeled and listed in the project. Everything must be clearly typed.
11. You WILL be graded on spelling and grammar.
12. Everything must be in your own words and your own design. Copying and pasting of any information or diagrams is strictly prohibited and results in a zero.
