We are a group of ESO 1 students from IES Roquetes and, this term, we have chosen STOP THE TAP as an optional subject. We are really interested in the use of water because it is very important for our present and future life. But... how much do we know about water? * Can you tell me the four parts of the water cycle? * How many litres are there in a gallon? * Tell me approximately the gallons of water per day that a family of four uses . * How much water can you save per day by turning off the tap, brushing your teeth in the morning and at bedtime? * How much of the water on earth is available for people’s everyday use? * How much water is saved per flush with a high-efficiency toilet? |
