WHAT IS NJHS?
National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is nationally known organization set up to create an enthusiasm for superior scholarship; to develop citizenship; to stimulate a desire to serve; to promote leadership; and to instill exemplary qualities of character. In order to be a part of this organization, students must occur a cumulative GPA of 3.5, apply during their 7th or 8th grade year at school, and show areas of leadership, scholarship, citizenship, and service.

Students interested in becoming a part of this organization must complete an application the beginning of Fall each school year. Students must also have a cumulative GPA of a 3.5 of higher and illustrate each of the characteristics listed above. Students that apply will proceed through the Faculty Council to be considered for membership. If you have additional questions please contact Ms. Dizon at school or email her at rina.dizon@rossrams.com

Applications are located near the office, near Ms. Dizon room (305), and are mailed in the August newsletter each fall.
