I was born in Montana and moved to Oregon when I was 5 years old. I started kindergarten at Linwood and was lucky enough to attend all of my elementary school years here! I graduated from Milwaukie High and earned my teaching degree from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. I am starting my 13th year as a teacher in North Clackamas. I have taught fourth, fifth and sixth grades during that time. I have been at Linwood for the last 9 years and I love being a Lion! My husband, Matt, and I have two sons. Ryan is 6 and will be starting 1st grade this year and really likes playing any kind of sports. Right now he is in to baseball. Luke is 4 and he loves to swim, dig for bugs and to follow his brother. My "boys" are a very important part of my life and you will hear about them often. When I am not at school and not busy with the boys, I really enjoy scrapbooking, reading and working out in my yard. I also love going to the beach whenever I get the chance.
