ECONOMICS DAY - WEDNESDAY, APRIL 27 Volunteers still needed. AN INVITATION WENT HOME YESTERDAY FOR THE MIDDLE SCHOOL "SNEAK PEEK" ON THURSDAY, APRIL 28. Please ask your child if you did not receive it. READING We will begin reading "The Wednesday Wars" by Gary D. Schmidt. VOCABULARY TEST - FRIDAY, APRIL 29 All students were given a word list on Monday. The word list is also here on the website. LANGUAGE ARTS - Continue to review parts of speech. Continue to write creatively. MATH - We will continue to review percents and decimals. We will do enrichment activities in math. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT ALL STUDENTS KNOW THEIR MULTIPLICATION FACTS. PLEASE HELP YOUR CHILD STUDY NIGHTLY IF THEY ARE STRUGGLING WITH FACTS. THERE IS A GREAT PLACE TO STUDY BASIC FACTS ON THE FIRST IN MATH WEBSITE. SCIENCE Students will have vocabulary words in their binders. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. SOCIAL STUDIES We are completing a mini-unit on the United States. We will be learning and testing on all of the states/caps of the U.S. NORTHEAST/SOUTHEAST TEST - FRIDAY, APRIL 29 - STUDENTS RECEIVED STUDY MAPS AND NOTES BEFORE SPRING BREAK. COMPUTER LAB - United States trivia FIRST IN MATH - All students can log on and work to increase math skill and ability. REMINDERS PLEASE REMEMBER TO SEND IN BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION TO HELP US EARN MONEY FOR OUR SCHOOL. If your child will be out, please remember to call the absence line. DON'T FORGET, YOU AND YOUR CHILD CAN ACCESS EBOOKS THROUGH THE SCHOOL WEBSITE. REMEMBER TO BRING A PENCIL AND OTHER SUPPLIES TO SEEK EVERY DAY. GRADED PAPERS ARE SENT HOME EVERY MONDAY.
