Using the controversial topic you selected, begin your search for resources with OPAC to locate print materials in your library. Do a KEYWORD search in OPAC using your topic OR type in the name the two nonfiction series in the library and click the SUBJECT icon. A list of all the nonfiction on controversial topics will appear. OPPOSING VIEWPOINT SERIES CURRENT CONTROVERSIES Create a BOOKBAG of the sources you find in OPAC to use when locating the material on the shelf. This BOOKBAG will also contain all the citation information you will need for your Works Cited page. Then, use the links to academic databases provided on this page to continue your research. In these databases, be sure to capture the citation (most of these databases will format the citation for you). You can usually copy and paste this information into a Word document for your Works Cited Page. |
